SPEAKER_02But then also, isn't isn't Star Trek one of those things where like they've got different universes, like you know, Star Trek Universe A12 and they all do like I've I'm I I don't know everything about Star Trek, but they generally all do like connect some like they there's ways they connect, they're not like completely different, but they are following different people and different things and all of that sort of stuff. I just wanted to know next. Like, how many how many Back to the Futures are there? I don't know, obviously, because okay, see plus an animated series. But like, see, there's three, they all follow um Morty. Oh, what was his name?

SPEAKER_03Back to the Future one ends exactly where Back to the Future Two begins. Exactly. It is continuing. So I and I think it didn't work. Just in the same timeline, it's it ends with the same scene that the next one begins in. And the same thing happens for the uh two to three.

Pitching A Ridiculous Movie To Netflix
SPEAKER_02Yes. Put milk in the fruit in the punch bowl. It's like a clue type thing. Listen, today Netflix will green light basically anything.
SPEAKER_03Why are we not in the cancel it? We can pitch to Netflix, right?
SPEAKER_02Like anyone's got the right to do so. Anyone can pitch to Netflix.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Whether or not they take it is different. We can pitch, though. Here's what we have to do. Try pretty much anything. We have to come up with something just abhorrently bad, right? And then pitch that. And then when Netflix is like, nah, nah, not gonna do that. You got anything else? Then we give them our real idea. So we talk about you know Rocky and the giant peach. Right. They're never gonna go for that.

Podcast Memories And The Lost Filling
SPEAKER_03I I want to hear the first episode I was on. Because when I came on, you had just reached out to me to be a guest. What like we were following each other, all of us, but we didn't like know each other the way I described. And yeah, I I actually lost a filling during that episode and didn't say anything. Yeah, so I my my plan was I came on and I'm like because I'm already do before I even knew you guys, I'm like, I'm gonna fuck with them. Because that's just I just like to do I like to run bits. So I knew that Rob, you don't like bananas and and you don't like laffy taffy, so I'm like, I'm gonna I'm just gonna eat banana laffy taffy for the whole time quietly and not mention it, not call it out. And then I lost a filling. So it's something I guess if you watch closely enough, there's probably a moment of great surprise on my face.
SPEAKER_02Did you tell that to your dentist when you went to them? Or like they're like, hey, how'd this happen? You're like, it's not important.

Oh. But like to you it all makes sense. Like you can actually understand, you're seeing the math and going like, yes, yes, that one. That that's one of my favorite equations.

I was thinking of this idea for a video because people ask me like uh to do like a frequently asked questions, and people ask me, uh, do you actually watch the video like on your phone? Like, are you actually watching the video when you're reacting? And I go, Yeah, I'm watching the video. Here's a clip of the actual sound, and then just play the porn hub sound at the beginning and be like, oh, that's that's a different uh yeah. I must have been reacting to something interesting there anyway, or something like that. I think that's the one.

SPEAKER_03But if you do that thing where like you kind of like, you know, where you like unfocus your eyes and try to look past it so that it creates a stereoscopic image, you can create one 3D boob.

SPEAKER_02Because we figured if we were gonna name our podcast after it, we might as well actually. We had like a thing. What's moderation to you? For me, something I talked about on my channel. If you we're actually going into deep listen, listen. That's pretty good. That is pretty good. Considering now it's mostly a DeLorean podcast and whatever other shit we come up with that week. Were you guys reading off of a script? Do we go God no? Uh, but we actually we still came up with like a theme and we went with it. Should should we go uh should we go more back to that or is is that just logged on now? That's my question.
SPEAKER_05You know, it used to be for a while there we would actually uh the um some of the like the stupid stuff and whatnot would actually get cut out and then put on the Patreon. Oh, really?

SPEAKER_00And honestly, you'll probably sleep better because a lot of us eat a lot and then go to sleep, which isn't great for your sleep quality.
SPEAKER_05For some of you, it may even be the flip way around. You may have to have a light breakfast and you may end up eating later at night. Yeah, but you're still focusing on the quality of the food.
SPEAKER_02I was like, this is good, but I gotta I gotta admit, I prefer the nutrition bucket DeLorean food because I'm just throwing that out there. I prefer you know what? Like, we went through all that. You can listen to that stuff if you want, and now we're on animal penis. Yes, it's there.
SPEAKER_05Like that's but well, I I mean, I think the thing that I really like is that um people will say that listening to the podcast is just like listening to some friends sitting around a table chatting.
SPEAKER_03Right. That's the hope. You know, it's it I I remember hearing that first episode of Inmoderation and going, Oh, that's great that those two have a podcast together. That's this is fantastic. Surely three years from now, I won't be on it ruining it. Um talking about animal penises. I'm improved. It's improved, new and improved product here. Uh, you know, it's like genuinely, and on a genuine educational note that also supports this, as somebody who has lost 110 pounds and kept it off and now helps other people to do the same thing. Just today in class, I was telling people you need something to focus on that's not about your health, not about fitness, about any of that. If you're just constant, if your identity is I am a person who loses weight and is losing weight, yeah, it's it gets tiring real fast. That needs to be something that you do, but not the thing that you are. So joke around with some friends.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's also that's why I want to bring on like more musicians and stuff, because like that's that's not weight loss, it's just something that's allows you to be creative or allows you to express something or whatever. And um, I can already like spoil that we've got two more musicians coming. Well, one's a twas Tessa Violet is coming back, and then another new musician that's coming.
SPEAKER_03I said, Oh, cool, like I didn't know that. Yeah, oh, surprise.
SPEAKER_02That's so true. Like, I think it's it's easy to get uh obsessed with something to go in and be like, This is this is what I'm doing, and it's all about this, and then no wonder you just get so burnt out uh on it, right? Like you need other things to kind of keep you sane. I enjoy that in my video because like I do a lot of videos that are just dumb, stupid, like humor or whatever. People are like, I come here and it's you know, I get to learn something and also you know just relax a little bit and laugh. And like I think that's like just as important as actually like nailing down what you're gonna do. That way you don't lose your mind.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's uh I I used to get obsessed with numbers and and perfection and nutrition and all that. And at this point now where I don't have to think anymore to keep my weight off or or to make progress where I want to make it, it's it's all because I'm I'm working on other stuff, I'm having good times with good friends.
SPEAKER_05And I used to be wrapped up in the idea of, you know, maybe someday I will get paid for doing this shit. And then I realized no, I'm never getting paid. And now it's just like I would just like people to come hang out with me on Twitch and chat and fool around and shit like that.

Friend Slop Games And Why They Work

SPEAKER_02Mike and I found Drive with Friends, which is still later to come out, but that was pretty fun. You're all in the car. Someone controls the power, and someone controls the steering and all the different things, and it's it's that's pretty good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's I think what I had the our winning round. I think I had the steering and you had the acceleration.
SPEAKER_02So yes, I think so. And that was that was pretty good. Like there's things fly and go back to the next one. Next Thursday.

SPEAKER_03Utilize a belt full of physics-based hardware that can either help or completely derail your crew. The choice is yours. I've never derailed us in a game. So this would be a good thing. You know what choice.
SPEAKER_02I think we already know how this game's gonna go.
SPEAKER_03This is see, these games for those of you that don't know what friend slop is, because perhaps you do something outside of the home. Uh it it's not a triple-A game, like you know, like a Grand Theft Auto or whatever, where everyone knows about it. It's like, you know, one or two people uh making a game at home for fun. The graphics aren't like top-notch, it just serves the story. And it's there's not like a deep story.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like you're just there to kind of have fun, and it's you're supposed to laugh.
SPEAKER_02What story do you really need, right? Like you get there and you get to kind of you have to gamble your way out of a loan shark. Like, yeah, okay, I'm in. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_03That was yeah, we found a game called uh Gamble with Your Friends. Yeah, and it's so you are saddled with a gambling debt and you have to go into a casino. It gives you five minutes to go into a casino and try to win it back. Yes. And if you succeed, you make it to the next day.
SPEAKER_02If you don't succeed, and you owe more money the next day, and you have to keep going back and winning more money. And if you don't win, then they just bring you to a hole, you go in and they shoot you, and that's the game. And I'm like, that's great, that's fantastic.
SPEAKER_03And you have to like sell body parts sometimes to like make up for certain things, and yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's it's great. Like, that's you can cheat, but yeah. You got really good at sticking bats in the Plinko machine. To cheat Plinko so we could win a bunch of money. It's a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_03Like, this is this is what I'm talking about. You don't have like these are not games where you're meant to be an expert. You just get dropped into this goofy world for fun, and and you and you just have some fun with it. It's no big deal.
SPEAKER_02And those games, like the more you learn, actually the less fun it gets, is where it's just like you're trying to like you're strategizing now. It's more fun to go in there with no fucking clue and just start doing things. You're just like, wait, what is this? A gun? I have to shoot you or me in order to sell an eye to pay off our loan shark debt? Okay, it's great.
SPEAKER_05I mean, 100% I'm using a nail gun on Mike's head build.
SPEAKER_03I've got a very soft skull, so that'll go straight through. Maybe it'll fix something.

SPEAKER_03We've played RV There yet, which is you're just a bunch of little chud chod looking dudes, and you have to get a van, an RV, across some treacherous terrain. The three of us have played that on stream a few times.

SPEAKER_03It's just it's fun. It's just fun. No one's yelling and getting angry. It's it's like I don't know. That's what I think.
SPEAKER_02I've gotten into a lot of games where it's just like the whole community becomes toxic and you're just screaming at each other. And it's like that's I get the drive for those games, but I prefer, yes, like gamble with your friends and whatnot. It's just totally ridiculous.
SPEAKER_03We grew up in Halo lobbies. We don't we're done. We did our time.
SPEAKER_05No, also, so like the the devs for hold fast, um, kind of like me. I think I'm gonna reach out to them and be like, hey, can I get two keys from for you these two guys? And we'll have another game night of Hold Fast. That's that that's that shooter game that's role player and Mike. You can be you can follow us around with bagpipes and inspire us.
